Alberto Hernandez is passionate about food, and is even more passionate about using great food to bring people together. Since his childhood growing up in Sonora, Mexico Alberto has been surrounded by great food. Alberto brought his desire to make great food with him when he moved to the United States. Beginning at the age of 18, Alberto worked at a restaurant in Fullerton, California where he made his debut in the Food Industry as a busboy. Alberto continued working in the restaurant business, moving his way up from a busboy, to becoming a line cook in the kitchen, until finally becoming a chef. Alberto gained an array of experience in the food industry over the years working at the different prominent French, Italian, and Mexican restaurants in Orange County. These experiences prepared him to be the best Mexican caterer Orange County has to offer.

Today, Alberto works at a prestigious restaurant in Newport Beach, California. It was at here that Alberto learned the importance of branching together his two great loves: food and people. Alberto was taught that a great meal not only should taste fantastic, but it should also unite friends and family.

This idea of community sparked Killer Tacos OC into existence. Not only is Alberto passionate about bringing your guests together, he is also a magnificent chef. Alberto is best known for his “Made From Scratch Margaritas,” his “Mexican Taco Bar,” and his “Shrimp Stuffed Yellow Peppers” – once you’ve tried Alberto’s authentic Sonoran feast, you’re parties will never be the same.

When Alberto is not cooking for friends or working at the restaurant, he’s spending time with his wife and two kids. He currently lives in Orange County, CA.
